A question was asked by the Member of Parliament for Kota Kinabalu Dr. Hiew King Cheu to the Assistant Minister of Transport Datuk Abdul Rahim bin Bakri during the question and answer session on the 1^st of July, 2010 in Parliament. He asked on the reason why the construction work on the Kota Kinabalu International Airport (KKIA) is delayed, and there is not much activity can be seen, especially on the air-side of the runway extension work. Dr. Hiew also asked on the measure that the ministry is going to take to ensure an early and speedy completion. 

Datuk Abdul Rahim bin Bakri in his answer said he is more then keen to see that the work is completed soonest possible, and he had asked for briefing on the job and had visited the job site five times. 

As for the Package 1 on the terminal building, the parking facilities, and other up grading work, it has been completed almost 100% by the contractor WCT Sdn. Bhd., and this will be handed over soon and will be in full operation. There is an exception on the Package 2 because it is slightly behind schedule on the “A” site. The “A” site according to records handed to us showed a 88.14% completion with a delay of 11.8% on the work schedule with an extension of time granted as many as four times. The final decision is that the project must be completed by 18^th of March, 2011.

亚庇国会议员邱庆洲于七月一日在国会的问答环节时，向副交通部长拿督阿都拉欣巴克里询问有关为何亚庇国际机场 (KKIA)的建设工程停滞不前的原因，迄今并没有看到有进积极的施工情况，尤其是飞机场的跑道加长工程。邱博士要求部长即刻采取施压措施，确保该工程尽早竣工。
拿督阿都拉欣巴克里回答说，他也希望该项工程能够尽快完成，他还说他已经进行五次的视察，并且获得该工程进度的简报。 

有关第一项工程的机场大楼，停车场以及其他需要提升的工程，承包商WCT公司几乎已经接近100％的完工了，并且不久将会全面投入服务。 至于第二项工程，稍微落后的“A”工程的进度。根据所看到的“A”工程纪录显示据已完成约88.14%，尚有11.8％的工程尚未完成，但是给与多达4次工程期展延。最后决定该项目必须在2011年3月18完工。

The first meeting of Sabahan in the Klang Valley held in Petaling Jaya on Sunday, July 4, 2010 to discuss specifically the problems of Sabahan in the Klang Valley and generally the concerns, grievances and frustrations of Sabahan 47 years in Malaysia Resolves as follows:-

(1)  Express grave concern at the socio-economic plight of Sabahan stranded in the Klang valley to the extend that homeless Sabahan had to scavenge for food from garbage bins outside restaurants in the Klang Valley or depend on food served by NGOs; 

(2)  Express grave distress at the spectrum of outstanding political, economic, socio-economic culture and citizenship woes of Sabahan, including: 

-       the long outstanding problem of illegal immigrants in Sabah, causing the Sabahan population to multiply from some 400,000 during the formation of Malaysia in 1963 to over three million today.

-       Poverty in Sabah-In stead of eradication of poverty in Sabah as promised by Barisan Nasional in 2000, Sabah has the highest poverty rate in the country.

-       Shocking backwardness in the development of basic infrastructure in Sabah whether roads, piped water, electricity and broadband to Sabahan.

-       Denial and discrimination against the rights of Sabahan with regard to 20% instead of just 5% oil royalty payment to Sabah Government.

于上周日七月四日，第一项会见在巴生谷报沙巴人的集会成功在八打灵再也举行，该项集会主要是特别研究及讨论居住和生活在巴生谷的沙巴人的困境，及解决沙巴人在马来西亚47年成立以来所面对委屈和挫折，其讨论的结论如下： -

（1）    着重关切沙巴人滞留在巴生谷的问题，尤其无家可归沙巴人不得不从餐厅垃圾桶或依靠非政府组织供应的食物的困境;

（2）    解决严重悬而未决的政治，经济，社会，文化和经济困境的沙巴人公民，包括：-

-   严重及悬而未决的沙巴非法移民问题，导致沙巴人口爆增，在1963年马来西亚成立后，人口从40万到今天超过300万。

-   国阵执政沙巴州后在2000年曾承诺消除贫困，但是沙巴州却是全国贫困率最高的一州。

-   沙巴州基本设施发展非常落后，无论是道路，自来水供应，电力或电讯。

-   沙巴人应有的权利，特别是石油分享税应该是20％，而不是只有5％。

Kemudahan infrastruktur asas adalah merupakan nadi bagi pembangunan sesebuah komuniti masyarakat baik dibandar atau diluar bandar.  Selepas  47 tahun merdeka sebagai Negara Malaysia, segala kemudahan asas tersebut seharusnya dikecapi oleh rakyat, namun tidak bagi penduduk  Kg.Iban Baru. Apa yang menjadi kekurangan bagi penduduk ini adalah kemudahan bekalan paip air bersih sepanjang 2 km yang melibatkan 50 buah keluarga dan kerajaan perlu memberi perhatian yang serius terhadap keperluan asas ini. Kerajaan Persekutuan telah memberi berbilion ringgit dalam menaiktaraf kemudahan asas negeri Sabah, namun apa yang menyedihkan kurangnya perhatian dan tiada peruntukan yang disediakan bagi kemudahan asas penduduk Merotai. 

Pengerusi DAP Merotai, Robert Penggai juga menegaskan kerajaan mengambil masa terlalu lama dalam menyediakan kemudahan asas tersebut kerana difahamkan bahawa peruntukan tersebut telah diluluskan tetapi pelaksanaannya hanya akan dilakukan pada 2012 seperti yang dinyatakan oleh YB Pang Yuk Ming  Pembantu Menteri Pembangunan Infrastruktur yang juga merangkap ADUN Merotai, semasa majlis malam bersama rakyat sempena menyambut Pesta Gawai Dayak disalah sebuah rumah penduduk Kg.Iban pada 28/5/2010.

一个社会的发展无论城内或城外，政府应该提供给市民基本设施。自马来西亚47年独立以来，政府在各地方提供基本的设施以促进社会发展，但是对约有50家居民的甘邦伊班巴鲁，政府迄今都没有提供自来水的设施。  政府应该认真关注这些基本需求，虽然联邦政府拨出数十亿令吉提升基本设施，但是却忽略了斗湖摩洛带(Merotai, Tawau)的居民。 

沙巴民主行动党摩洛带负责人罗伯炳凯(Robert Penggai)呼吁政府认真关注摩洛带居民的需要，提供给他们基本设施。 据副基本设施部长兼摩洛州议员带彭育明参加于五月二十八日的丰收节庆祝晚宴时说，摩洛带区的自来水供应的工程已经被批准，但却只在2012才会实施。

The development of a community whereas in the city or outside the city should provided with basic infrastructure. After 47 years of independence in Malaysia, all the basic facilities that should be provided for the people, but unfortunately not for the people of Kg. Iban Baru.  What are the disadvantages of the kampong with 50 families was that there are no tap water supply facilities and the government should give serious attention to these basic needs.  The Federal Government has billions of dollars in upgrading the state of basic amenities, but is seem that the Government has neglected and not provision to provide basic needs to the people of Merotai, Tawau. 

Sabah DAP Merotai Chief Robert Penggai urged the government to look into the need of the people in Morotai and providing basic facilities such has be inform that the provision of tap water supply has approved, but implementation will only be carried out in 2012 as stated by Pang Yuk Ming, Assistant Minister of Infrastructure who is also the Assemblyman of Merotai, during the night of the celebrate of Gawai Dayak Festival at Kg. Iban on 28/05/2010.

Jeffrey Wong Su En is expelled by DAP

DAP Malaysia head quarter Discipline committee has viewed the action by claiming himself as the party’s Sabah DAPsy chief without the consent and proper procedure followed. The chairman Sdr. Tan Kok Wai today issued a letter of expulsion to terminate Jeffrey’s party membership explained the reason of his expulsion and he is given 2 weeks to explain the case. 

The letter of expulsion is attached herewith for your reference, which is self explanatory.

民主行动党开除黄势恩

马来西亚民主行动党总部纪律委员会认为黄氏没有遵循正确的程序及党的同意，私自称自己为沙巴州社青团主席。 行动党纪律委员会主席陈国伟今天发出开除信，终止黄势恩的党籍并且解释他被开除的原因，并要黄氏在两个星期内向总部解释清楚。

Sabah DAP will be sending its Kota Kinabalu Parliament Liaison committee youth and women teams to participate this year Sutera Harbour 10^th 7K Sunset Charity Run in aid of fundraising for the Special Olympics Sabah (SOS) and Sabah Thalassaemia Society which will be flagged off on Saturday 10^th July 2010 at Sutera Harbour Marina Golf and Country Club starting at 5.17PM.    According to Sabah DAP Chief and Kota Kinabalu MP YB Dr. Hiew King Cheu Sabah DAP will also have one of its members Dr Felix Chong , a medical doctor to be at the event to help out in case of any emergency. 

沙巴民主行动党亚庇选区社青团和妇女团将派出成员参加丝绸港湾麦哲伦度假村推动的黄昏慈善义跑，这项善举乃是为沙巴特殊运动会（SOS）和沙巴地中海型贫血病协会筹款，该慈善义跑将定于本月10日在丝绸港湾麦哲伦度假村高尔夫俱乐举办，时间是傍晚五点十七分开始。 沙巴民主行动党州主席兼亚庇国会议员邱庆洲博士说行动党医疗保健局主任张国华医生，将会加入该活动的医务人员工作并且协助任何紧急情况的问题。
