Ini adalah untuk memberi notis di bawah Peraturan Tetap 23 (1) untuk usul bahawa Dewan ini mengambil ketetapan untuk membahaskan projek Logi Penjanakuasa Arang Batu (Coal Power Plant Project) di Felda Sahabat Lahad Datu.

2.         Projek ini telah mendapat bantahan keras daripada rakyat Sabah. Pembahasan ini adalah untuk kepentingan dan kebajikan rakyat, mencegah pencemaran alam sekitar dan menjaga keindahan alam sekitar serta habitat.

Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Musa Aman has proudly declared that Tawau is the first district to achieve zero poverty through its poverty eradication program (Borneo Post, 3^rd August 2010). Such declaration will certainly raise more questions. Economically, Sabah is not doing well.  In fact there are more than 200000 Sabahans in Malaya looking for greener pasture. They were convinced that it is the land of opportunity.  The fact that our people are heading somewhere else indicates the sorry state of our economy. Based on the newspaper reports those who left our shore are mainly school dropouts and unskilled manpower. Is Musa saying that poverty is now eradicated in Tawau because all the school dropouts and unskilled manpower there have moved elsewhere? In this sense we must take Musa’s declaration of Tawau been freed from poverty with a pinch of salt.

沙巴州首席部长拿督慕沙阿曼很自豪地宣布，斗湖将会是第一个地区透过消除贫困计划实现消除贫穷（婆罗洲邮报2010年8月3日）。  这样的宣言肯定会引起更多的问题，尤其是沙巴州面对着经济上的困境。 此外有超过200000的沙巴人在寻找机会，并且认为这是一个充满机会的土地。 但是事实上有许多沙巴人因为沙巴州的经济状况而前往别处找工作。 根据报章上报道离开到他处找工作的人士，主要是辍学和身无技术的人。 所以慕沙的意思说，目前消除斗湖区的贫穷率，是因为所有的失学生和身无技术的人都往外流？  那么我们是否采信慕沙对斗湖所作的宣言呢？

Sabah DAP Kota Kinabalu Parliament Liaison Committee Youth Chief cum Api-Api Branch Chairman, Junz Wong said, the young people began to realize their responsibilities and rights as a citizen, and they know that they can change Sabah and Malaysia.   Therefore more and more young people wanted to join Sabah DAP Kota Kinabalu Youth.   Wong said that he so far has received more than 100 new members application forms to join the party, and he assure that there will be more young people to join this big family.

 沙巴民主行动党亚庇国会选区青年团团长兼亚庇亚庇支部主席王鸿俊说，青年人开始意识到自己的责任和权利，也了解他们能够一起改变沙巴和马来西亚。 因此越来越多的青年人要加入沙行动党青年团。  王氏说目前收到超过百多位的新党员入党申请表格，并且以后将会有更多的青年要加入行动党这大家庭。

本杰明博士及温氏在视察期间，发现该段道路是一条繁忙的道路，这是许多甘榜人使用的唯一主要通道。 可惜的是这道路到处都是大洞，泥浆和积水。 此外居民还告诉他们说，尽管有关当局曾经给予承诺将会修建该段道路，但是多年以来都没有看到政府进行任何施工及维修的迹象。

Dr. Yapp and Voon witnessed the vehicles on the road at the time of inspection, and found the road is a busy public road used by many kampung people.  The roads were full of large and deep pot holes with mud and water everywhere.  They were being informed that the road was never been repaired for many years despite the villagers were promised by the authority concerned.

邱博士问公务局，亚庇市政厅，消防拯救局，以及其他机构，包括工程协会和防治土崩机构是否有进行列常的视察及检验。 该委员会应该立即进行全面操作，视察所有可能会导致土崩的山坡以防止坍塌事件再次发生。Hiew asks whether the committee form by the JKR, DBKK, Bomba and Rescue, and other authorities and departments including professional bodies on the slope observation and collapse prevention is still in full operation. If not the committee should be reactivated immediately to provide check on all hill slopes before any disasters hit.
