Sabah DAP Vice Chairman Edward Ewol Mujie and State committee member, Peter Liew went to inspect the collapse Tamparuli-Ranau road after received many complaint from the people. So far there is still no sign of any maintenance work carry out. They ask why it takes the authority concerned such a long time to repair the collapse road. Health Minister Datuk Dr Liow Tiong Lai makes a special visited to Sabah DAP State Chairman cum MP Kota Kinabalu Dr. Hiew King Cheu at QEH2 on Sunday after his MCA Sabah State Meeting, he arrived with hospital staff and doctors. He wished Dr. Hiew a speedy recovery from the leg muscle operation. New Straits Times today front-paged its exclusive story of 55 proposals by various government agencies in a laboratory to combat terrorism and reduce the high number of illegal immigrants in the country. These 55 proposals are to tabled at the Cabinet Committee on Foreign Workers chaired by the Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin when it meets on August 2.

Junz Wong, Sabah DAP KK Parliamentary liaison committee youth chief cum API API branch chairman, says : "We realize that more and more youth are aware of the importance of voting. They however, find difficult to do registrations, either they are busy with works or they don't know where to do the registration. The KK Youth hereby form the mobile teams to solve all the problem. We will reach out to the youth at their timing to do the registrations and listen to their complaint.
illegal immigrants is the mother of all problems

As far as Sabahans are concerned the issue of illegal immigrants is the mother of all problems. I am not surprise when the Performance Management and Delivery Unit (PEMANDU) CEO said that the illegal immigrant problem in Sabah did not make the top six of the surveys because PEMANDU CEO comes from Sarawak, a state that does not experience this problem at a gigantic magnitude. The results from the multiple surveys the government conducted showed that the people wants the government to transform in six NKRAs namely fighting corruption, reducing crime, reducing poverty, enhancing education, improving rural basic infrastructure and urban public transport. I would like to remind PEMANDU CEO that the illegal immigrant problem is a serious problem in Malaysia with Sabah harbouring the most illegal immigrants. So this is a Malaysian problem and qualifies into the NKRAs. I am very certain that the six NKRAs mentioned by PEMANDU CEO is intertwined with the illegal immigrant problem in Sabah in particular.
