Hold CM Musa Aman personally responsible for Illegal Immigrants

The illegal immigrant problems in Sabah had been a “pain in the ash” for many decades, the Federal and State government are seen to be less than whelming in tackling the problems which is affecting the Sabahan deeply. Now the talk on allowing these illegal immigrants who had entered the front door of Sabah “illegally” and “openly” to be “legalized” and become legalized foreign workers in Sabah. Is the state government doing the right thing? There were many illegal immigrants had become “Sabahan” through dubious ways or other legal ways, and their numbers are in the hundreds of thousands. Many books and figures were published to the effect, but why nothing and no action had been taken.

Scrap the 10-yr-old Education Ministry circular restricting formation of non-Muslim religious societies in schools – against 1Malaysia and NEM to educate a critical and creative generation of Malaysians

The 10-year-old Education Ministry circular restricting the formation of non-Muslim religious societies in schools is the best example of Little Napoleons running riot in the civil service working against the national interests of educating a critical and creative generation of Malaysians and harnessing the multi-racial, multi-religious and multi-cultural assets of plural Malaysia.

SABAH DAP WANTS FAIR DISTRIBUTION OF LAP-TOPS TO THE RURAL COMMUNITIES IN BINGKOR

According to Dr Benjamin, Sabah DAP took the initiative to assist deserving rural communities to obtain a laptop for their schooling children regardless of their support for BN or, the opposition parties as he hoped that there would be a fair distribution of laptops to reach the target groups to prevent any parties or, individuals from manipulating and unfairly distributing to the people of their choice, hence, Sabah DAP had identified the poor and needy families in Bingkor where many poor families could not afford to own a computer for their schooling children.

PBS a cleaning fish of UMNO

Sabah DAP feels that PBS Information Chief Datuk Johnny Mositun is not been fair to himself, his party and the people of Sabah by referring to the opposition’s statements as unnecessary and unproductive rhetoric seeking cheap publicity. Mositun should look into the mirror as his party PBS was at one moment in time an opposition party.

Sabah DAP would like to remind Mositun that PBS return into BN fold (or bus) was to seek a lasting solution to the problem of illegal immigrants within the BN. It cannot be denied that several task forces or committees were established at Federal level to manage and solve this issue. Nothing happened. Today, the government has formed a laboratory on how to manage the illegal immigrants. Sabah DAP thinks a “laboratory” is a wrong place to tackle this illegal immigrant problem, the mother of all problems in Sabah.

How long do Mositun and PBS wait to see the end of the illegal immigrant problem? As far as Sabah DAP is concerned, the problem would only ends when every single illegal immigrant is legalized and enters the electoral roll. By then UMNO will be the undisputed dominant political party in Sabah. This is the time when UMNO will find the other component parties a nuisance in their bus. However, we would expect PBS leaders to stay on the UMNO bus for the comfort and becomes “wall paper”.

FDI crashing because investors lost faith, says DAP

By Boo Su-Lyn | The Malaysian Insider

KUALA LUMPUR, July 25 — A lack of confidence in Malaysia’s economy has driven foreign direct investment (FDI) to our neighbours, leaving the once-roaring “Asian tiger” to compete with Indochina countries, the DAP said today. The World Foreign Investment Report (WIR) 2010 released by the United Nations showed that FDI in Malaysia plunged 81 per cent last year, trailing behind countries like the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia and Singapore.

Project to develop government civil servant quarters, Tanjong Aru, Kota Kinabalu

Sabah DAP received many complaints from the general public on the reason why such a big piece of government prime land which had been quietly handed to a company to develop. That is why the Audit General had come up with a report to high light the issue in its 2001 report. The question is who actually arranged this piece of 128.42 acres of government land to a private developer, and it is believed that this ended up in a court suit between the designated develop and the government. Can a large state land be simply given to private company to develop and what is the benefit as far as the state government is concerns?   Is it in line with the local government and the land ordinance, has they any conversion on the land use been approve or gazette.

The expensive postage charges have been the constant complaints received by the Sabah DAP offices and the Semananjong counter part.

In Semananjong, it is an increase from the original RM0.30 to RM0.60 and in Sabah it is RM0.30 to RM0.80 starting on July 2010.
